‘Tread the Snow Twice’ Chocolate Stout 6% | 6 Pack

£31.00

During WWII, the Moon Squadron’s Westland Lysanders were responsible for the most insertion and extractions of secret agents into and out of occupied Europe.

The Lysander would fly at night without lights or navigation aids. The Pilots would only fly during a full moon, so that they could use the moonlight to see ground features and landmarks for navigation.

The BBC would then broadcast secret messages to let the resistance know the Lysander would be arriving that evening, such as “Le castor foulera la neige deux fois” (the beaver will tread the snow twice) meaning two Lysander’s rather than one were due to land that evening.

This thick and decadent stout is brewed with a complex grist of crystal & munich malts, rolled oats and dark chocolate malt. We fermented this beer on top of the finest organic Peruvian cacao nibs and carefully aged this stout in stainless steel before packaging.

Unfiltered and naturally Vegan friendly.
